Veneers are wafer-thin shells that are most often made from natural-looking porcelain or ceramic and are bonded to the front surface of a tooth to cover discolorations, stains, chips, cracks, or even misaligned teeth or gaps.
Veneers in Philadelphia
In order to create your custom-made veneers, the expert team at Premier Dentistry of Philadelphia will take impressions of your teeth. The mold will be sent to a dental laboratory where your veneers will be created. Once they are returned to our office (typically in five to ten business days), we will use a special cement to apply the veneer to your tooth or teeth.
Once the veneer is placed and you are pleased with the way it looks, a special light is used to harden the cement and permanently attach the veneer to your tooth.
Veneers are made in a tone and translucency that either matches your current teeth or even to whiten and improve the looks of your teeth. Veneers typically last for five to ten years and do not require any special care, just brushing, flossing and regular visits to our office.
In addition to traditional veneers, we are proud to offer E.MAX veneers. E.MAX brand restorations are made from a top-grade material which is known for its toughness, durability and opaque qualities. It is strong, long-lasting and considered to be one of the best available when it comes to matching natural teeth.
